The Green House Project Announces Robert Wood Johnson Grant

Congratulations to our partners at The Green House® Project who announce a new $650,000 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Grant.

“The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has awarded the Green House Project a new $650,000 grant to continue leading the transformation of long-term care in America.  Meanwhile, the Center for Innovation has acquired the Green House trademark and intellectual property and is moving to expand the Green House model’s impact through initiatives focused on people with dementia, people in need of short-term rehabilitation services, and other areas of innovation—all while spreading the model nationally.”

Green Hill in West Orange is proud to be the home of four Green House Homes, the first of its kind in New Jersey, and the Green House® Project’s 100th Green House® Home in the nation. The Green Hill Green House Homes are dedicated to long-term nursing care and subacute, short-term rehabilitation services.

President and Executive Director of Green Hill Inc., Donna Lazartic adds, “we are thrilled to continue our mission in partnership with the Green House Project to expand and promote the Green House model for elders in New Jersey, and the tristate region.”
