On Sunday, September 11th at 1pm-4pm the 35th annual Grandparents Day event was held at Green Hill Inc., in West Orange. The carnival atmosphere was enhanced by the sunny and breezy weather and the festooned 21 acre sculptured property that encompasses the Green Hill Legacy building, and Green House Homes neighborhood.

Residents and their family members, friends and staff enjoyed live entertainment, a petting zoo, pony rides, a face painter, carnival games, and fun carnival food.

“We have had Grandparents day at Green Hill for the past 35 years,” said Toni Lynn Davis, Executive Director/President of Green Hill. “It is a great intergenerational event that lets families, elders and staff celebrate the day together. It’s always been one of my favorite days of the year.”

Grandparents Day at Green Hill is one of a series of intergenerational events held each year that brings families together to share activities at the senior’s home, ‘at home at Green Hill.’
