The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation sent a camera crew to one of The Green House® Homes at Green Hill in West Orange, New Jersey recently to capture the intimate home-style living environment provided by The Green House Homes for senior nursing care residents.

Green Hill Green House elders Marie Rachel and Shirlie De Costanza performed like professionals telling stories and singing songs for the camera crew.

The video clips are expected to be used to promote The Green House® Homes Project at their 10th anniversary. The Green House Homes at Green Hill are the only of its kind in New Jersey and considered some of the best examples of The Green House Homes Project in action. Workshops will be held by NCB Capital Impact in June and November at Green Hill to provide an overview for interested providers on how to ‘change the culture of care’ to the Green House model at their facilities.

THE GREEN HOUSE® Project is a program of NCB Capital Impact and has received funding from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. NCB Capital Impact provides technical assistance, training and pre-development loans to organizations seeking to transform their communities by embracing The Green House model.
