Students from China Visit Residents at Green Hill

Wednesday, March 4, 2015, West Orange, NJ: On Tuesday February 17th, Chinese students participating in the ERDT enVision program visited with elders at Green Hill Inc., in West Orange, New Jersey. ERDT enVision sponsors students from universities across the globe in an effort to “strengthen our global community through cross-cultural learning and living.”

The envision students immersed themselves in American culture on their 22 day tour of the US. Green Hill was selected as a visiting destination to speak with and learn from American elders in a senior community. Residents of Green Hill and the students spent time together making flower crafts to take back to China. The students also visited New York City and Philadelphia.

“It was such a pleasure to have the ERDT enVision students from China spend a day with us,” said Green Hill Executive Director and President Toni Lynn Davis. “They enjoyed spending time with our elders, and our residents were very happy to host them. We wish them a safe trip home, and success in their future endeavors!”
